The Hostos Caimans continue to extend their win-streak, capturing their 24^th consecutive win in the Region XV Semifinals against the Dutchess Community College Falcons. The Caimans high-pressure defense led to 18 steals, and their fast-pace offense continues to rattle their opponents.

The Caimans received solid leadership from their floor general, Destini Green as she captured another double-double with 18 points and 10 assists. Corina Coles had an impressive game for the Caimans, shooting 50% from the field on her way to accumulating 18-point.

In addition to battling the Falcons, Pamela Suarez was also battling the flu. However, that would not stand in her way as she posted another double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds. Cashmir Fulcher added 13 points and 5 rebounds, while Nyasha Howard added 10 points and 5 rebounds.

Rounding out the scoring was Ashley Smith with 8 points, Imani Bayne with 6 points, Tahira Orosco with 2 points, Dominique Wesley with 2 points and Charleny Peralta with 1 point.  

The Caimans advanced to the Region XV finals, playing the Borough of Manhattan Community College Panthers at 12pm today (March 5^th) at Westchester Community College. Please come out to support your Caimans and to witness their record-breaking season.
