SWIMMING POOL
The Hostos Community College Swimming Pool serves as a recreational space for the campus community. The swimming pool consists of a six-lane, 25-yard pool with starting blocks. The minimum depth is 3.8 feet and the maximum depth is 12.6 feet. The facility seats its spectators on the pool deck in bleachers overlooking the pool area and holds approximately 150 fans. There are men’s and women’s locker rooms available for use by all students, faculty and staff. All safety equipment is clearly defined and positioned throughout the facility. During the school year, the pool is open to current Hostos Community College students, faculty and staff with a valid Hostos Community College ID card.  Swimming is allowed only during scheduled times, and only when a lifeguard is on duty.
