th, the Caimans picked up a 94-64 win against conference opponent the Queensborough Tigers. The Caimans led all statistical categories, shooting 44.6% from the field, hitting 37 of their 83 shots and going 10-23 from the 3pt line. The caimans were perfect from the foul line, finishing 10-10 overall. The Caimans grabbed more rebounds (42), dished out more assists (18) and were able to create 22 Tiger turnovers.
Jefferson Francois and
Jemal Smith both had double-doubles for the night, with Francois finishing with 26 points and 18 rebounds and Smith adding 22 points and 12 assists. Smith has been solid on both ends of the court and continues to lead the Caimans with his pressure defense and explosive offensive moves. Francois continues to dominate the glass, converting offensive boards to points consistently.
David Ivanov also had a solid game, scoring 18 points and grabbing 6 rebounds, while
Kameron Outlaw added 14 points, 2 assists and 2 steals.
