BRONX, N.Y. – Hostos Community College has announced the promotion of Kenneth Stevens to Head Men's Basketball Coach.

A Bronx native, Stevens has been a key architect of the Caimans' success over the past eight seasons, serving as Associate Head Coach and playing a pivotal role in recruiting, player development, and game strategy. His leadership has produced NJCAA All-Americans and numerous all-conference and all-region players, helping cement Hostos as a powerhouse in NJCAA Division III basketball.

A former standout at Kingsborough Community College and a member of its Hall of Fame, Stevens brings both playing and coaching experience to his new role. He is also the founder of the nationally renowned Dyckman Basketball Tournament and Dyckman Youth Enterprises, which serves over 500 families annually, underscoring his commitment to youth and community development.

"Coach Stevens knows this program inside and out," said Brent Wilson, Hostos Director of Athletics. "We are confident he will build on our tradition of excellence and continue to elevate Hostos men's basketball."
