Your Caimans were back in action last night, traveling to Garden City to face the Nassau Lions. Despite the 64 fouls (Hostos 35, Nassau 29) called, the teams maintained their composure. There seemed to be no real flow to the game, neither team seemed to really get in rhythm without hearing a whistle. But what do competitors do? They compete, and that's what both teams did. Both teams were almost equal in every category, but the key one being FT%. The Caimans shot 49% from the charity stripe while the Lions shot 61%. 

The game saw the re-emergence of Sophomore G/F Moses Denis as he lead the Caimans in scoring with 21 points on 50% shooting with a game high 12 rebounds. Jefferson Francois, the Caimans leading scorer added 18 points and 10 rebounds despite fouling out. Jemal Smith chipped in 16 points and 8 assists. The Caimans would make a run and tie the game on two different occasions and would go up by as much as 4 points midway into the second half. But despite their best efforts, the Caimans couldn't overcome having 6 players with 4+ fouls, and 4 out of the 6 fouling out.

The Caimans will next be in action at home Saturday, November 14^th at 1PM vs the Suffolk Shark.
