Your Caimans were victorious against the Ulster Senators 83-74 on Tuesday, with the help of
Jemal Smith, who scored 12 of his team high 19 points in the first half.Your Caimans took the lead early and went into the half up 40-28.
Two other players also added ten or more points for the Caimans,
Jefferson Francois had 18 points and 9 boards, and
David Ivanov put up two three-pointers and scored 10 points in total. In an all around team effort the Caimans all chipped in with 13 Caimans scoring at least one point.
Julius Sallet (6 points, 4 rebounds),
Hakeem Henry (6 points, 11 rebounds, 1 block),
Anthony Johnson (4 points, 6 rebounds). As a team the Caimans also dominated the glass, out rebounding the Senators 61 (22 offensive / 39 defensive) to 33.
It was still a great game, and competitive as the Senators came back and cut the lead to within 5 (79-74) with a little under 2 minutes left. But with clutch free throw shooting the Caimans were able to hold off the Senators and secure victory and protect their home court.
