The Hostos Men's Basketball team begins its quest for an NJCAA Region 15 Championship and an automatic bid to the NJCAA National Tournament this Friday, March 2^nd at Noon as the #3 seed versus the #6 seed SUNY-Ulster Senators.  The two teams split during the regular season with Ulster winning 84-82 on November 15^th only to have the Caimans return the favor on January 24^th and capture a 5 point victory, 62-57.  The Caimans (19-8) are led by the trio of Brandon Stolz, Jeremiah Brown, and Charles Jackson who will seek to lead the Caimans to victory and help them to advance in the Region Tournament.
               
In order to win the Region Tournament the Caimans must win 3 games in a row starting with the Quarterfinal game this Friday at noon.  If the Caimans win, they will play a Semifinal game on Saturday at 2pm and then the Championship game on Sunday at 2:30 pm.  All games are played at the Monroe Athletic Complex (MAC) at New Roc City in New Rochelle, NY.  The costs of tickets are $3 per person and the arena is located at 19 LeCount Place, New Rochelle, NY.  For complete information regarding teams, times, tickets, and arena information visit www.monroecollegemustangs.com
