The Caimans are on a roll! They have won 8 of their last 10 games and have set the standard for the new era in Hostos Hoops. Academically, they amassed a team GPA of 2.60 and have the most wins since 2005-06 when Hostos compiled a 23-8 overall record.

Last night, six players scored in double figures, and all thirteen players were able to contribute statistically in a team-oriented 94-56 CUNY Athletics Conference victory over the Borough of Manhattan Community College (BMCC) at the Swamp.

By halftime, Hostos jumped out to a 20-point lead and never looked back. Starters for the Caimans tallied a field goal percentage of 65% for the game, while going 9-for-13 from three-pointers. Jeremiah Brown and Charles Jackson lead all scorers with 21 points and kept their team in an up-tempo defensive effort that contributed to the win. Hostos recorded 21 total assists for the game.

For BMCC, Justin Leon lead his team with 7 points and 6 rebounds.

Hostos moves to 14-5 overall and 4-2 in the CUNY Athletics Conference. They play at home against Ulster County Community College on Tuesday, January 24th at 8pm.
