The Lady Caimans traveled to Middletown, NY last night for a battle of the blue and orange against Division II Orange County CC but came up short. The Colts came out of halftime shooting 41% for a double digit lead en route to a 65-32 win over Hostos.

Throughout the game, Orange continued to pass the ball well and make the Lady Caimans work on every possession. Despite offensive setbacks, Kristina Shcherban made all 6 of her free throws and shot 3-for-9 and added 12 points for Hostos. Guard Jackie Awosika contributed 9 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists. Hostos Women's Basketball has a 9-5 overall record for the season - still their best start in five seasons.

For Orange County CC, Brittani Romanelli lead all scorers with 23 points.

The Lady Caimans continue their three-game road stand in a Hostos doubleheader in Vineland, NJ against Cumberland County CC at 1:00pm.
