Despite of a magnificent and unassisted strike from Iancarlos Reuter at the 65th minute mark,of the game, the men's soccer squad was unable to make a comeback against Cumberland Community College. Cumberland struck first with two early goals in the first half in the 3rd and 25th minute. After that the Caiman defense sunk in and they seemed to have woken up.,"We should have played the first 45 minutes with more intensity and discipline,",coach Gonzalez said.,

Showing much more poise the Caimans were on the attack most of the second half testing the Cumberland defense. It seemed that after the goal by Iancarlos Reuter, the momentum was on the Caiman side. Unfortunately with a couple of injuries and time expiring it put a halt in another comeback for the Caimans. The much improved defense from last year, and the fearlessness of the team has the Caimans looking extremely formidable in the upcoming conference games.,
