Bronx, N.Y. – This weeks Flashback Friday features the 2012 Men's Soccer team which was the most successful Men's Soccer team in Hostos history posting a 8-4-2 record being led by student-athletes such as Oumar Mbaye, Ousman Dibba and Emmanuel Adesanlu. The 2012 Caimans were not only good on their home field of Macomb's Dam Park where they posted a 5-2-1 record, but they were also road warriors with a 3-1-1 record.

The 2012 Men's Soccer team also posted a 7-2-2 record in their Region XV competition and made an appearance in the CUNYAC Championship game where they suffered a 2-1 loss in overtime to the BMCC Panthers. Soon after the Caiman Soccer players bounced back to record the first playoff win in program history when they defeated the Ulster CC Generals 4-1 in the Region XV Quarterfinals before falling in the Regional Semifinals to Suffolk CC by a 2-0 margin.
