Quincy, MA - The Men's Basketball team rebounded the second night of their trip to New England as the Caimans took on Quincy Community College coming out with the victory in overtime. The first half was a back and forth affair which saw the Caimans squeeze out a four point lead at the half 48-44. Quincy would not be denied as they fought back in the second half eventually leading to a tie score at the end of regulation 82-82. But the Caimans would come out on top winning the overtime period by four points coming out on top by a final score of 95-91. with the win the Caimans are now 9-7 overall.
Leading the way for the Caimans with a career night and posting his first triple-double freshman guard
TeAmo Ebron notched a career high 30 points while also adding 15 rebounds and 10 assists. Also having a great night and posting a career high was sophomore forward
Tionne Palmer who recorded a career high of 20 rebounds while earning a double-double by adding 10 points. Sophomore guard Marquis Paulin added 12 points while recording six steals for the Caimans.
As a team Hostos shot 48.6% from the floor while hauling down 19 offensive rebounds and dishing out 24 assists.
Next up for the Caimans is a road trip to Rockland Community College on Saturday, January 14 at 1pm.
