Bronx, N.Y. - The Caimans Men's Basketball team returned to action Friday night in The Swamp after their holiday break to host Roxbury Community College from Boston. Both teams played hard and after a back and forth affair Roxbury came away with the win by a final score of 83-74. With the loss the Caimans fall to 7-5 overall.
Leading the way for Hostos was sophomore guard
Kai Holland posting a team high 14 points going 3 of 4 from deep. Freshman guard Marquis Paulin added 12 points and freshman guard
Onias Outlaw posted a 11 point and seven rebound effort. In the paint for the Caimans freshman forward
Tionne Palmer tallied seven points and five rebounds while freshmen forward Ashuante Manuel had a team high eight rebounds.
Next up for the Caimans is another non-conference matchup against Monroe College - New Rochelle on Saturday, January 8 on the road.
