Patterson, N.J. - The Women's Basketball team secured their fifth win of the season defeating Passaic Community College on the road by a score of 90-64. With the win the #11 Caimans improve to 5-1 overall and 1-0 in CUNYAC play.

Leading the way for Hostos was sophomore guard Shania Lewis who notched a double-double off the bench with 20 points and 10 rebounds. Having a big night for the Caimans inside the paint was sophomore forward Ayanna Brown who had a stellar night also posting a double double with 12 points and 15 rebounds to go along with 3 blocks. Also scoring in double figures for the Caimans were freshman guard Starr Garcia with 13 points, freshman guard Dimon Walker with 11 points and freshman forward Adria Powell with 10 points to go along with 5 rebounds.

Next up for Hostos is a Tuesday, December 7 matchup with ASA-Brooklyn at home in The Swamp. Tip-off is schedule for 6pm and the game will be streamed on the Hostos Athletics YouTube Channel.
