Your Lady Caimans traveled to Brooklyn for a CUNYAC double header match against the Queensborough CC Tigers (12PM) & Kingsborough CC Wave (1:15). After the 5 set thriller on Tuesday, the Caimans seemed eager to take the court. As the Lady Caimans still try to find themselves, the crisp passing from injured setter Tenaya Hawkins is being felt. The tigers end up defeating the Caimans with the final score 3-0.
Next up was the Wave, and the Caimans woke up for this game. Better passing, communication yielded a better result. Sophomore Sidasia Johnson had 12 kills 5 blocks and 16 digs, with Johanna Palma contributing 4 kills 23 digs and an ace. Freshman Gabriela Sanchez also attempting to fill the void of the injured Hawkins by contributing 20 assists. Despite the better play of the Lady Caimans it was not enough as the Wave won 3-1.
