Bayside, N.Y. - The Caimans Women's Volleyball team looked to wrap up their season Monday afternoon at the CUNYAC women's volleyball playoffs being hosted by Queensborough Community College. The #4 seed Hostos Caimans took on #1 seed BMCC in the CUNYAC semifinals and the Panthers controlled the game from start to finish. Coming out strong right away BMCC took the first set by the score of 25-12. The Caimans would come out strong in the second set giving the Panthers a challenge but still fell 25-17 to give BMCC a 2-0 lead. The final set was all Panthers as they took the final set 25-9 to take the win 3-0. The Caimans finished their season with a 7-16 record.
Leading the way for the Caimans was sophomore outside hitter
Savannah Williams who totaled eight kills, 17 digs and four service aces. Freshman Nicole Rosas also contributed with 16 digs and two kills while sophomore Libero
Iyanna Charon added eight digs and sophomore setter
Ashly Cabral registered four assists and three digs.
