Rachid was born in Ouagadougou, the capitol city of Burkina Faso (“Land of Uncorruptable People"), a landlocked country that shares borders with nations such as Ivory Coast, Ghana, Mali, and Niger. Rachid led his team to victory in the “Soccer Cup” for his school back home, Universalls.  Rachid is a gifted athletic player that will be called upon to be the anchor on the Caimans’ defense this fall with fellow Burkina countryman Rachid Nikiema.  Rachid’s favorite food is rice and beans and favorite T.V. show is Breaking Bad.  Rachid looks up to his parents as his role models and is studying Business Management with plans to attend a 4-year college after he’s graduated from Hostos.
