    Assistant Women's Basketball Coach
Quamisha Lyles, who holds the rare distinction of winning a National Championship as both a player and a coach joined the Women’s Basketball coaching staff during the summer of 2017 and is entering her fourth year on the Caiman bench. Coach Lyles is involved in all aspects of the Caiman program including coaching the offense and defense as well as player development. Lyles has also taken great pride in being a role model for the Hostos student athletes under her tutelage drawing on her knowledge as a former player. During her time in The Swamp Coach Lyles has played a key role in the program winning three CUNYAC titles, three Region XV titles and two National Championships in 2018 and 2019

A former collegiate player herself Lyles played two years at junior college power house Monroe College. During her time playing for the Mustangs she helped lead them to the NJCAA National Tournament in 2010 and 2011. Her sophomore year at Monroe was a special one as the Mustangs captured the 2011 National Championship. After Monroe Lyles went on to play at DII Felician College in New Jersey on an athletic scholarship. During her time at Felician College Lyles set a program record for blocked shots in a single season recording 87 blocks her senior year.

Lyles graduated from Felician College in 2013 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. A Bronx resident, Lyles currently works in the education field for the New York City Department of Education.
