BRONX, N.Y. – The Hostos Community College women's basketball team is heading to the 2025 NJCAA DIII Women's Basketball Championship in Rochester, Minnesota, after capturing their first NJCAA Region XV Championship since 2020. With an outstanding season behind them, the Caimans have earned the No. 2 seed in the national tournament, solidifying their place among the country's top programs.
As a top seed, Hostos receives an opening-round bye and will take the court on Thursday, March 13, at 4:00 PM (CT) to face the winner of No. 7 Community College of Rhode Island vs. No. 10 Jefferson Community College.
The NJCAA DIII Women's Basketball Championship runs from March 12-15, 2025, at the Rochester Regional Sports Center in Rochester, Minnesota. The Caimans are on a mission to add another national title to their storied program's legacy.
