Stone Ridge, N.Y. - The Caimans Women's Volleyball continued their season on Saturday as the team traveled to Ulster Community College for a non-region game. Ulster struck first taking the first set 25-7. But the Caimans would come back strong in the second set losing a close battle 25-17 before taking command in the third set capturing a win by the score of 25-20. But the generals would prove to much and would top Hostos 25-13 in the fourth set to finalize their 3-1 win over the Caimans. With the loss the Caimans are now 2-4 overall but remain 1-0 in CUNYAC and Region XV action.
Leading the way for the Caimans was sophomore outside hitter
Savannah Williams who led the team in both kills with 12 and digs with 15. Also having an outstanding afternoon was setter
Ashly Cabral who registered a team high 14 assists. Leading the team in service aces was freshman Nicole Rosas who notched four SA's while also adding three kills and two digs.
Next up for the Caimans is a road game at Nassau Community College on Tuesday, September 13 at 6pm.
