New York, N.Y. - The Caimans Men's Basketball team took the court last night and was victorious at BMCC in the CUNYAC semifinal against Kingsborough Community College. With the win the Caimans are now 18-10 overall and will face Queensborough Community College on Friday night at BMCC at 8:30pm in the CUNYAC Men's Basketball Championship game.
It was a balanced attack for the regular season champions, as six players finished in double figures.
Joshua Brown led all scorers with 15 points, while
Marquise Paulin added 14 points and four assists.
Ashaunte Manuel produced a double-double of 12 points and 10 rebounds, while
Onias Outlaw added 10 points, eight rebounds and three steals in the victory.

Kingsborough's
Neilon Bridgeman finished with a double-double of 15 points and 11 rebounds, while
Tyrese Grant scored 14 and
Jason Whea added 13.

The Caimans and Wave exchanged baskets in the early minutes, but a 20-3 run from Hostos broke the game open, shooting 49% from the field throughout the period to hold a 47-25 lead at halftime.

Hostos continued to pour it on in the second half, outscoring the Wave 44-35 in the stanza. Paulin scored 10 points in the frame, knocking down all five of his field goal attempts.
Frantley Pondujour scored nine of his 11 points in the final half of play.
