Bronx, N.Y. - The Caimans faced one of their toughest test of the year when they faced off against CUNYAC opponent Queensborough Community College in a battle for first place in the CUNYAC on Saturday afternoon. The Caimans would come out on top defeating the Tigers 71-55. With the win the Caimans are now 6-3 overall and 4-0 in the CUNYAC in sole possession of first place.
Leading the way for the Caimans was freshman guard
Onias Outlaw who posted a double-double of 17 points and 17 rebounds while also adding 3 steals. Making a major impact off the bench was freshman forward
Ashaunte Manuel who added 11 points to go along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals. Making a big impact on the perimeter was sophomore guard
Kai Holland going 3 of 6 from deep for 9 points. Inside the paint freshman forward
Tionne Palmer controlled the interior with 8 points and 10 rebounds.
