Hostos' Mecca Norfleet has been named the CUNYAC/Con Edison Women's Player of the Week for the week of 2/3 to 2/9, for the second consecutive week. The Queens native is 4th in the conference in scoring, averaging 18 ppg. This showed as the sophomore guard dropped 43 points, shooting 9-12 from the line in a tough loss to Suffolk. The School of the Future graduate continued to demonstrated her scoring skills as she dropped 25 more points in a 63-49 win over KCC, and scored 19 more in a loss to QCC, for a week total of 87 points.
