CUNYAC/Pepsi Community College Rookie of the Week
Seyma Soylu, Hostos
Outside Hitter/Setter/Freshman/Istanbul, Turkey/Uskander Cengelkoy HS

Seyma Soylu of Hostos has been named this week's CUNYAC/Pepsi Community College Rookie of the Week for the week of 9/8-9/14. The native of Turkey  has been the Caimans X-factor this season. She currently leads the Caimans in service aces. During their match against Bronx CC this week, Soylu had served 11 aces. Against BMCC, she hit an impressive .545. The versatile freshman totaled 22 aces on the week with 28 total kills.
