COLLEGE: Martinez's freshman year at Hostos Community College, she won CUNYAC Rookie of the Year for the 2012-2013 seasons. She has won CUNYAC’s Applebee Athlete of the Week three times and was nationally ranked for player with most kills per set.
HIGH SCHOOL: Martinez attended Politecnico Padre Zegri. She played for the national team of Dominican Republic, both Santiago and Santo Domingo.
FUTURE PLANS: Martinez's future plans are to continue her education and graduate from Hostos Community College. She also plans to play division II volleyball for a private University.
