COLLEGE: Chalas is a freshman at Hostos Community College and her first year playing volleyball on a varsity team.
 
HIGH SCHOOL:  Chalas attended Lehman High School and was an Honor Roll student through high school. She played softball and earned recognition as Most Improved player.
 
FUTURE PLANS:  Chalas's future plans are to graduate from Hostos Community College and attend a four-year College. She wants to pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Social Science. She also plans to pursue a Master’s Degree in Social Work or Education and attend Law School.
