Bronx, N.Y. (Mar. 21, 2024) - Hostos Community College Caimans jumped atop the leaderboard in the race for the 2023-24 CUNYAC Community College Commissioner's Cup following the success of our Men's & Women's Basketball teams. Hostos scored a whopping 60 points in men's and women's basketball, winning both the regular season and tournament championships to leapfrog the competition into first-place.

The Commissioner's Cup annually recognizes the strongest athletic programs in the CUNY Athletic Conference as determined by a scoring system which rewards a school for success during both the regular season and championship competition. With three more CUNYAC Championships to be contested from April through May, there's plenty of opportunity for movement in the standings until the Commissioner's Cup is presented on May 16, 2024, at the Michael Steuerman Annual Awards Banquet.
