CUNYAC Community College Women’s Volleyball Weekly Award Winners Announced

CUNYAC Community College Women's Volleyball Player of the Week
Savannah Williams, Hostos
So., White Plains, N.Y./White Plains
 
Williams led the Caimans to a pair of victories last week, including a 1-0 start in the CUNYAC and Region XV with a win over Bronx. Her top performance of the week came in victory over Passaic, when Williams finished with 19 kills, six service aces and five digs.
 
CUNYAC Community College Women's Volleyball Rookie of the Week
Nicole Rosas, Hostos
Fr., Bronx, N.Y./Saint Catherine Laboure
 
Rosas got off to a great start in her Caimans career, helping Hostos to a pair of victories. In a conference win over Bronx, the first-year registered a match-high 11 service aces. In a 3-0 sweep over Passaic, Rosas produced nine kills, nine digs and six service aces.
 
The 2022 CUNYAC Community College Women's Volleyball Championship is scheduled for Monday, October 24 at Queensborough Community College.
